Winds of Sinai is a kitesurfing tournament held in Dahab, a beautiful small Egyptian town located by the heavenly red sea on the coast of Sinai.
The logo is inspired by the rocky mountains, palm trees, camels and the red sea, which are all the town's authentic and indigenous visual semiotics. In regards to typography, a modern typeface is molded in order to take the form of the angled ropes holding the kiter to the kite itself. All these elements combined together into one logo, form the outline of South Sinai's map.
