Americana Beans is well known for its canned Fava beans that are available in a variety of flavors across Egypt. They developed four new innovative flavors matching the same taste of the popular Street cart beans (in Arabic called ‘’فول العربية’’), which is a famous and timeless tradition ingrained in the Egyptian culture.
In order to create a packaging design inspired by the Traditional street cart beans, we incorporated a variety of visual semiotics native to the street cart. Elements such as the vivid colors, layered visuals, hand drawn geometric pattern, illustrations and calligraphy, were all used as a reference for the Americana packaging design that successfully creates a familiar and seamless connection between the two products.
